Woke Up Different Today
You ever stared at your phone like it owe you light?
Thinking back when I wrote this. I have a love hate relationship with my phone. Sometimes you have to wake up different. Sometimes you have to think differently. Some times life just be life-ing. Sometimes you have to take a break, which lead to the song sometimes on the I feel fine album.
This is a rare moment of vulnerability - right here, lost in thought. My sisters, both of them, help bring this track to life. I thank them for this. We recorded this on my mom’s birthday, April 28, 2025.
